Style When looking for a photographer for your child and family portraits, it is important that the photographer’s style matches your own. Studio B specializes in contemporary lifestyle photography which means that we prefer to shoot with very little structure. Our editorial style captures the emotion of the moment and our sessions are as much about a feeling as it is a look. Each session is absolutely unique and tailored to your needs. Brooke enjoys working with you during your consultation to design a portrait session that is just right for your family.
Attire It's very easy to see how our clients dress....they dress well! Whether casual or dressy, black & white or color, special attention is given to wardrobe selection and styling. We discuss the reasons for your portrait session; the ideal look and feel of your final images; and the locations that these pieces will be on display. There are a ton of websites for getting ideas. We love Nordstroms for both classic & contemporary family looks; Baby Stylefor chic maternity and Talbot Kids for children.
Availability Summer and holidays are an exceptionally busy time. As soon as you decide that you would like to shoot with Studio B, please book your desired date as our schedule fills quickly. If you are a referred child model, pregnant or have a newborn, Brooke will try to rearrange her schedule to accommodate these last minute requests.
A Note About Newborns… The best time to call Studio B regarding photographing your newborn is while you’re still pregnant. By calling while you’re still pregnant, it allows for us to make a note of your due date and plan accordingly. The best time for a session with your new blessing is during their first 2 weeks or younger.
Pet Photography & Policies We are pleased to photograph you and your family with your pet. We limit the photography to our exterior grounds or at the location of your choice. Due to the sensitivity of our newborn and asmatic clients as of 12.26.06 we do not allow animals inside our studio.
Archive Policy Image files used to create initial print orders will be available for up to 12 months and will be available for reorders. Unordered image files for which there are no prints created are archived for 90 days from your session date and then are subject to permanent removal from our database.
