Warning! Snarky comment ahead - What's with all of the people photo bombing my shot at the flipp'in Arboretum??? Not even sure where to begin with how much I love photographing this family but please let me tell you that it was like I'd have to be MacGyver to get a clean background :-) ! You know why the family is smiling here on the first family portrait?...Because there is a pile of people standing behind me waiting...& waiting while I...um...yes bogarted access to the bridge to get this portrait!) If you follow the blog, you might remember the girls fabulous Spring portrait session at the University of Washington twirling through the cherry blossoms or our ultra glam holiday session last year with the entire family but it was this family portrait on location at the Seattle Arboretum that just had that "WOW...epically awesome...no matter where you look...it's going to be a gorgeous shot" feeling. Except it was CHUCK-A-BUCK full of people with the exact same idea as ours. I don't know how I've grown up in this city and not ever visited this oh-so-pretty setting but honestly it doesn't come any more beautiful than Fall at the gardens (and clearly given the throngs of people...I was the only one that was in the dark about it's awesomeness)...then you add Mom Lilia's talent for styling her family and it's just off the charts! And speaking of styling...let's just take a closer look at the wardrobe choices here...I mean REALLY -- does this family not look like they stepped out of the pages of a magazine? This chic Mama in her chocolate leather pants, studded Louboutin booties and tailored tweed blazer next to her handsome hubby (that reminds me of James Bond's Daniel Craig :-) ) makes it almost impossible to believe that she gave birth to 4 kids! And oh my goodness...can we just talk about these crazy cute children?...I died and went to photographer's heaven when I saw this baby boy grab is bow tie and give me those big blue eyes of his :-) Swoon!
Oh and since we're talking about FAMILY....look for our Holiday Family Portrait Special Announcement tomorrow on the blog!
