Oh gosh...where to start with this amazing family photo shoot with the Heck Family at Fox Hollow Farm? The beginning of course :-) I'm almost convinced that Mom Lisa and I are the same person...well she's the blonde, tan, Barbie version of who I would be if...never mind tangent -- She and I think alike and LOVE to plan a fabulous family portrait session. A few months prior to her upcoming outdoor Summer session we decided on a Modern Family Vintage Family Picnic theme and from there...it was a flurry of Pinterest inspiration boards, brainstorming and the oh-so-important bribes for good behavior to the family members (you think I'm talking just about the kids...but I can only imagine what it takes to get Dad Adam to wear a sweater and tie when it's literally 99 degrees ;-) Lisa is a master when it comes to styling her kids birthday parties and family events and she realizes that the dazzle is in the details for her photo shoots as well -- nothing was missed - retro chevron blanket, fresh cut flowers tied with ribbon, a wicker picnic basket filled with mason jars of fresh berries, Italian soda and hot baguette bread, (actually...all of the food was hot -- did I mention it was blazing this day?) Okay...you get it -- it was toasty ;-) On to the clothes! I won't take a ton of time describing the unbelievably perfect wardrobe choices from Mom's black and white stripe dress to baby boy's sweet suspenders with gingham pink button down and fedora hat because well -- just look up -- you can see how fantastic they are dressed. Love the mixing of patterns and textures, color and style. Feeling inspired? Want more? Check out the Heck's Breakfast at Tiffany's studio session here or visit our Family Portraits Portfolio here!
Oh...and speaking of style -- shout out to Sorella Salon once again for getting each of our ladies camera-ready. Mmmmwah! XOXO
