TIPS:

  1. Grooming is always encouraged - pampering your pet makes them look and feel their best on camera.

  2. Leash and kennel are an excellent way to make sure that you have a minute to focus on your self before, during and after the session as needed.

  3. Plan for treats and be sure to let the studio know if you have any special needs. Be certain to give us a heads up if your fur baby has any physical restrictions or personality points that we should be aware of in advance of your shoot. ie Likes Mom Best, Teething, Bad Hip.

Finally… do not leave your husband (below) to play with your props, your middle child and your 20 year old cat.

First Family Portraits for the Lung Family

Meet the Lung Family!  I adore them. Like seriously, they are so awesome and funny and wonderfully kind that I could almost forget to mention how photogenic they are... which would likely not be problematic because you can see that for yourself!  Alan and Charlene bought the babies (yes, plural... because we count fur babies as part of the family too) for their first ever family portrait and it was tutu-perfect from beginning to kissy-face end.

So true story, when I first started dating my husband Glenn, I had a cat.  When it was pretty clear that things might get serious between us and we would be living together-- he said

Future Husband: "I'm really allergic to your cat Chia and while  I'd HATE to see her go..."

ME: " I'm going to stop you right there...she's family."

15 Years later -- we are ALL still happily living together. (and ironically, he is no longer allergic to our cat -- he puffs up around every other cat -- but not our kitty :D )  So many lessons here.  Miracles of evolution, power of love -- pick your favorite, but the net result is -- we pet owners love our animals... A LOT.  So you can just imagine my excitement when Erin (Studio B's brains of the operation) told me that she was adopting a new baby.  Baby Shiba Inu that is.  Meet Pippin.  We are all "Fur-Ever" in Love.
