Coordinating your closet for chic Senior Portraits

We’ve all been there…standing in your front of closet with your clothes flowing out onto the floor around you - somehow with so many choices yet nothing to wear! Outfit planning can be daunting, and color and style coordination can seem impossible. But we are here to share some of our secrets on the best tricks to create a coordinating camera ready outfit! Cultivated from our years of on-set experience working with magazines, stylists, and models, we are thrilled to offer tips that will allow you to customize your camera ready style.

  1. Embrace texture and prints

Textures can add depth to an outfit. We love Cassi’s fun poppy houndstooth knitted sweater combined with a washed black denim. By incorporating different textiles she gave her wardrobe depth and complexity that we believe deserves a standing ovation.

  2. Dress for YOU

Be your authentic self. Do some research and dress for your figure. Knowing what outfits and styles create balance with your proportions and accentuates your favorite features is just a quick search away! Online sources such as Instagram and Pinterest are great resources. Check out styles and looks that you like, then modify then to flatter your form and match your unique look!

  3. Accessorize details

Some of our favorite accessories include jewelry, statement shoes, an ornamental belt, or a fabulous handbag. Something you love that adds character to your outfit in a subtle way. We love Grady’s rings and necklace, especially the way they bring some edge into his photos.

It’s you on your best day!
