Home for the Holidays: Planning your Christmas Family Portrait Session at your place

We have a gorgeous, modern studio with all the luxury and pampering to put the falala in your family pictures, but if you are thinking that “Home for The Holidays” might be your best move for your Christmas Portrait session this year - we have three of our favorite tips.

Whether you have small children with big feelings or big kids with little attitudes (heehee) - planning a photo shoot at your home could be the best bet for you this year.

Make it Convenient & Comfy. Consider adding blankets, pillows and props that make it easy for your kiddos to feel comfortable and warm.

Deck the Halls (and window) Early - Maybe Costco had it right putting up their Christmas trees in August (kidding… but not really). Consider adding a little holiday magic in your window to give you that holiday magic while the weather is still lovely outside.

Bring a Bribe. Think of a family session as another opportunity to spend time together, create a lasting reminder of your loved ones every time you see your wall portrait or open your art book and obviously the perfect occasion to ply your children & spouse with rewards for good behavior.
