Introducing the fabulous Studio B Team

It has been a minute since we have introduced ourselves… and by a minute - I think it’s never happened actually! Since 2006 we have been collaborating before your session, bringing fun energy to your photoshoot, designing beautiful custom pieces featuring your favorite photographic memories, and finding our happy place in creating an experience that is joy-filled, luxurious and “You On Your Best Day.”

Now that we are settled into our brand new “forever studio” in Issaquah, we recently took the time to update our own professional headshots, and it was such a memorable team building adventure. Pressing pause on the hustle that goes into running a small business, we started the day by getting pampered with professional makeup in our Studio B salon prior to being photographed, and I cannot say enough about the confidence it gave each of us to be relaxed on set! (Fancy talk for we all felt SO very pretty and I made my husband take me out to lunch because I was feeling super cute) Our goal was to capture lifestyle images that conveyed joy, trustworthiness, and the family-focused values of Studio B Portraits.

Meet Brooke

Brooke started her career shooting for Disney and Ford Models Teen & Youth Division in Los Angeles prior to opening Studio B Portraits in 2006. A featured photographer for 425 Magazine, she has appeared on King 5 News and her editorial work has been seen in many magazines including this month’s August cover of 425 Magazine Women to Watch.

Brooke and her husband make their home here on the Eastside and are proud parents to three kiddos who are often seen at the studio, helping on set, chatting with clients and updating our social media (with occasional TikTok dance breaks)

Meet Erin

Erin graduated from Seattle Art Institute and has been with Studio B for over eleven years. She is our behind the scenes master of operations and organization. She is often the first voice you hear on the phone and the smiling face that greets you when your arrive here at the studio.

Erin is a dog-Mom to one extremely cute Shiba-Inu named Pippin and loves spending her time exercising, enjoying a Pacific Northwest hike and all things fitness.

Meet Makayla

Makayla is celebrating year three as a Studio B lead photographer. A posing and lighting expert, Makayla has been featured in Vogue Magazine and honed her craft as a wedding + engagement photographer prior to joining our team.

Makayla is our social butterfly, friends, family and travel are always on the top of her favorites list. An endless reader, this sweet one is always ready to share her latest book title, podcast and coffee obsession.

Of course we have to give a shout out to our amazing makeup artists, hair stylists, and interns who contribute to creating a one of a kind experience for everyone who walks through the doors of Studio B each day! We are so lucky to have this team of amazing creatives who pour their heart into everything we do!
