(READ FIRST: A note before we begin - So in the spirit of binge watching Netflix and celebrating the 11 year anniversary of Gossip Girl, it’s important that you read this entire post as narrated with the "Gossip Girl” voice in your head! - Okay GO!)

Hey Seattle Eastsiders. Studio B here… and we have the biggest news ever. Looks like the rising trend in Senior Portraits is a city chic vibe. Don’t believe us? See for yourselves. Lucky for us, we have proof.

Spotted: senior stunner Sophia.

What is this beauty doing strolling the streets of Downtown Bellevue?

Word is Sammamish High School senior Sophia was rocking the spotlight for her Senior Portraits, turning heads wherever she went. We have a lot to learn from our senior stunner. Here are just a few of our favorite lessons learned.

01. When it’s time to celebrate in style… know your style! Sophia wanted a city vibe as far from the rolling hills and wheat fields as she could get! She opted for our Signature Senior Experience and let the fabulous streets of downtown Bellevue be her runway for the day! She hit the museum, a little fun in the fountain, and quick coffee break on her stroll over the skybridge to the W Hotel.

02. The Rule of Thirds. Be sure to add a third item to layer into your look. The dazzle is in the details, my loves so accessorize always. Grab your handbag , toss in a little leather to add some sass and don’t forget to dress head to toe with your favorite footwear. We love Sophia’s Louis Vuitton tote and Gucci belt and oh-my-gosh the shoes… can we please give a quick curtsy to her shoe game on each and every look)

03. Trust your tresses to the Professional hair and makeup masters. Sophia began her Senior Experience with time spent at Gene Juarez Bravern. There is a reason why professional hair and makeup artists are masters of their art - just look at Sophia’s curls! A little luxury goes a long way and remember these pictures are forever so go on…you know you deserve it!

An apple for the teacher and a sharp pencil are a girls best accessory for kicking off the school year in style. PC: StudioBportraits.com
