If Liberty High School Senior Rachel seems a bit familiar...then I owe you a BIG thank you because that means you & my Mom have been reading this blog for a long long time (heehee). I've had the joy of photographing Rachel and her lovely family over the years and it absolutely blows my mind that she is going to be graduating in the Class of 2015! (The last time I had her in front of my camera was for Rachel's Girls Night In Birthday Party photo shoot) For her senior pictures, we wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous Summer heat so we headed outside and began strolling through the fields, lounging against the vintage fences and gazing off while basking in the glow of the late afternoon sun -- you know our typical day here at Studio B Seniors ;-)Camera Ready Hair & Make-up Styling Credit: the fabulous Sorella Salon
Eastlake High School Senior Emma and I headed out to the "daisy field" and oh my gosh..tell me she doesn't look almost angelic sitting here with the sun bouncing off her super shiny locks (shout out to Sorella Salon for yet another amazing blow-out :-) ) This senior pictures session was so cool because although she looks like she's have a solitary moment out in the grass...Emma brought a supportive style/cheer team of Mom and best friend plus our shooting Studio B crew ...proving that photo shoots are most fun with an entourage! In a million years I would never recommend a drastic color change 47 seconds before your senior pictures but darn it if Redmond High School Geni didn't go from red to dark brown within hours of her photo shoot and totally pull it off! She looks like a Greek Goddess in this white column dress and bold crimson lip -- so pretty! Big thank you once again to Sorella Salon for styling her pretty locks :-)
Today we're serving up the latest in our High School Model Team interview series featuring another of our favorite models from last season. Spoiler Alert...my VERY favorite answer from her is #7! I'll let you just guess what this gorgeous girl is "SO OVER..." I thought she was going to say some sort of clothing trend but her answer was WAY better! (Oh and if you are or know a Class of 2015 Junior interested in applying for this year’s 2015 Studio B Seniors Model team…there is a link and more info at the bottom of this article)

"She's so sweet!" That's literally the first thing that came out of my mouth the moment I began clicking the shutter during Anna's senior pictures photo shoot. This Forest Ridge senior girl is the 3rd member of her family that I've photographed for senior portraits and the baby sister to her two older brothers. We had such a great day to shoot and I just loved this sweater, denim & scarf combo...just perfect for the season.
I just had to share these awesome senior pictures of Eastlake High School's Jamie. We had THE most gorgeous mid-morning shoot and Seattle showed up with a full sky of sunshine for our Sammamish Senior. I loved Jamie's choice of outfit for this look -- blue denim has that effortless cool that makes it easy to pose outdoors and not be scared of a little bit of Northwest nature :-) This full horizontal portrait is one of my favorite with the sun streaming through the fence.
Issaquah High School Senior Meg is "that girl"...Oh you know the one I'm talking about -- the girl who just makes it all look effortless and who has so many intereseting things to chat about that the time just flies by! Even if you wanted to be mad about her Hollister model looks...um, you can't because...oh yeah, I forgot to also mention -- she's SUPER nice too. We had a great day of Seattle sunshine and I just loved this set but I also added another from her photo shoot on our Studio B Portraits Facebook page
They don't come any more All-American than Skyline High School 2014 Senior Crystal. As soon as I saw her navy and white striped t-shirt with her blue denim vest and white legging I knew exactly the direction we were headed for this look of her senior pictures-- with the 4th of July right around the corner, I felt a little Americana inspiration was in order. And might I just say...how stink'in cute is Crystal's sweet puppy? We added another favorite from this look (this one we shot in the studio) to our Facebook page here
Hazen High School 2013 Senior Stacy was just so cute when we were shooting her senior pictures outside on this gorgeous Seattle day. We were chatting it up about High School (which she actually likes!) and plans for heading off to college. Of course every time someone tells me their post HS plans...I'm not-so-secretly living vicariously through their adventures :-)
Holy Names High School Senior Kennedy has one of those faces -- you know what I'm talking about...one of those gorgeous faces that look like a celebrity....but WHICH ONE? I hadn't even clicked a picture yet and I was already trying to figure -- I knew it had something to do with her awesome defined eyebrows (yes...that's how I roll...I'm starting with the eyebrows :-) ) Lucky for me, Kennedy helped me out -- I began by describing the actress and the movie.... "Um, you know the Snow White movie....the funny one, not the K-Stew one...it's the gal that plays the lead..." In my babbling, Kennedy immediately says "LILLY COLLINS" and I"m like Yes! Mystery solved. :-) We had this gorgeous day to shoot her senior pictures but I also fell in love with this awesome studio portrait that we posted on our Facebook page here.
