So let me just start with WOW. There are times when the person on the set is just SO amazing that I physically have to put the camera down and just take in what is actually happening. Photographing beautiful ballerina and Skyline High School Senior Kati was exactly one of those occasions. This gal is such a strong athlete -- her "sport" just happens to be ballet (on toe) and watching her perform some of the complex dance choreography was just awe inspiring. I'm not sure I've ever seen someone that fit...and might I say "bendy" in real life :-)
Can't stop looking at her eyes huh? That's okay, you're in great company...my guess is Skyline High School Senior Hailey has probably heard that her entire life! We had the best day to shoot and not only did we get these awesome outdoor senior pictures but we did some outrageous artsy black and white shots that had me thinking this crew athlete might be headed on her way as a future Nike Model. See if you agree...check out my sporty sneak peek of Hailey on our Facebook page here
What can I say about Skyline High School's Nicole that isn't just staring you right in the face?! She is just beautiful inside and out and we had the best time during her senior pictures photo shoot. This 2012 girl is spending her summer at Harvard (yes, she's a smarty pants too) but we were lucky enough to get these awesome shots before she left! I also added another favorite on our Facebook page.
This girl has confidence! And why shouldn't she? In these leather boots and fitted jacket, Eastside Prep Senior Leah was 6 feet of beautiful! Loved this high fashion senior photo shoot because Leah was totally up getting into character. Big thanks to our make-up artist Margaret for another stunning camera-ready face :-)
Maybe it's the "Hollywood" coming out in me but I've been loving our Class of 2011 senior photo shoots that tell a story...so much personality shining through with each of these fun High School Seniors! Honestly, we get THE best of the best so I shouldn't be surprised that these images look like they are torn right from the pages of a fashion magazine. Here's our latest and greatest -- and one that I'm titling "All-About-Town" with Skyline High School Senior Jenna.  With her gorgeous bouquets of flowers we set out on the streets of Issaquah on this super cool retro cruiser from the new Bicycle Center shop on Front Street.  Want to see more of our favorites? Check out our famous Ford truck shoot with Savannah from King High School, Vogue Magazine session with Redmond High School Sarah, River Dance with Maggie and Confetti Cupcakes with Molly.
"I LOVE YOU Molly!" That's what I shouted out the door as Skyline High School Senior Molly was departing the studio following her totally awesome senior photo shoot at Studio B. :-) Having photographed Molly before I knew that we could do something really fun and totally off the wall for her Senior photo shoot. Big thanks to Confetti Cupcakes for the delicious and decadent cupcakes and for letting us shoot with you. My very favorite shot is the one here on the top left where it totally looks like Molly stole that little girl's cupcake (she didn't...but the devilish grin tell a great story) Want to see her entire photo shoot? Of course you do...click the show below!
Issaquah High School Kim came to the studio with one very specific request for her Senior Pictures - she wanted to be photographed with flowers! Since we learn this kind of information during our pre-session interview questions with each of our seniors, I selected this set for her shoot. Of course as much as I'd like to take credit for these great senior portraits -- Kim and nature did most of the work on bringing all of this together. I love her high energy personality -- she reminds me again why I love my work. Oh and since we're talking seniors -- we are unveiling a new look on our Studio B Seniors website with tons of new images in our brand new Featured Senior Galleries (we have tripled the number of senior pictures in our portfolio showcase) Let us know what you think!
Rain? What Rain! Molly from Skyline High School is one of our 2011 Model Students that reminds me again why I LOVE being a high school senior professional photographer.  Great energy, positive attitude...clearly gorgeous -- I could go on and on. It was so hard to choose just two sneak peaks to preview here of each of our models so we've included more on our Facebook Fan Page.
Next month we'll be mailing our new Senior Summer Specials for the 2011 Class -- if you're interested in receiving specials and promos in your mail box, CONTACT US and send us your home mailing address.
