What happens when you put a photographer’s family on set for a Portrait Experience? Well, if you are a part of my family, all of a sudden the world is your runway!
Since the weather mood swings of the PNW can be unpredictable, we opted this year for a chic studio look. Brooke made us feel like we stepped right off the cover of Vogue, photographing our big family in a way where every person felt special!
For better or for worse, there is never a dull moment when we are all together (and before you start patting my dad on the back for putting up with us, just know that he’s actually the life of the party).
Shout out to the fabulous Elizabeth White Artistry. Her expertise in camera ready makeup for all of us ladies gave us supermodel confidence before we even stepped on set. Plus, it was the perfect relaxing activity for all of us to share pre-photoshoot! Check out a little before and after of our makeup transformation.
Since I am behind the camera 99% of the time, it was such a treat to play on set with my favorite people.
From coordinating every person’s unique wardrobe, to dancing it out on set, to oohing and ahhing at the memories we look back on when all is said and done, my family adores Holiday Family Portraits because it is the perfect activity for us to do while our youngest siblings are home for winter break. We’re already planning for next year…
